Tayside Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Technology Services (TORT Centre)

The services available in the TORT Centre aim to enhance the quality of life and independence of people with disabilities through the use of technology.

There are three services which are provided within TORT - Prosthetics, Orthotics and Assistive Technology. Assistive Technology can be broken down into a further two services - Electronic Assistive Technology Service (EATS) and Wheelchair and Seating Service.

Each one employs skilled staff to provide solutions that meet the individual patient needs. This includes liaising with other health and social services to ensure the best possible outcome.
